I want to give you six exercises for a double chin. As a person ages or gains weight, loose skin can develop under the chin creating a double chin. 

If you have a double chin, I think the first thing you should do is get on the Healthy Keto diet and do intermittent fasting. That will help you get the weight off. Then, in addition to that, you may want to try these exercises for a double chin. 

Exercises for a double chin:
1. Straight jaw jut 
• Tilt your head back and look toward the ceiling 
• Push your lower jaw forward to feel a stretch under the chin 
• Hold the jaw jut for a 10 count 
• Relax your jaw and return your head to a neutral position 

2. Ball exercise 
• Place a 9-10 inch ball under your chin 
• Press your chin down against the ball
• Repeat 25 times daily 

3. Pucker up 
• With your head tilted back, look at the ceiling 
• Pucker your lips as if you’re kissing the ceiling to stretch the area beneath your chin 
• Stop puckering and bring your head to its normal position 

4. Tongue stretch 
• Look straight ahead, stick your tongue out as far as you can 
• Lift your tongue upward and toward your nose 
• Hold for 10 seconds and release 

5. Neck stretch 
• Tilt your head back and look at the ceiling 
• Press your tongue against the roof of your mouth 
• Hold for 5-10 seconds and release 

6. Bottom jaw jut 
• Tilt your head back and look at the ceiling 
• Turn your head to the right 
• Slide your bottom jaw forward 
• Hold for 5-10 seconds and release 
• Repeat the process with your head turned to the left

I've been doing the bottom jaw jut for 30 years now, twice a day. I'm now 60 years old and I don't have a double chin, its quite tight.

I have lost 18 lbs now. Doing good. Joint pain leasing. Having fun making my food. Loving this no wondering what to eat to lose weight. No more cravings. No more hunger. Just at the end of my fast. I meal a day. With a fat coffee or small fat snack 4 hrs latter. I think I could go with out that. But that is my favorite time for keto treat. Made keto ice cream last night. Can't wait to try it to night. Thank you for all your help. I am 70 and struggled for years. My end will be the best years now I know how to eat.

I heard that mewing, which is the act of forcibly placing the tongue into the roof of the mouth, is also effective, and a lot less effort! Apparently, a double chin can also be the result of mouth breathing, having a poor jaw structure due to diet (less chewing) and, controversially, braces. I myself have struggled with a sagging jaw ever since several of my teeth were removed.

Sit-ups work too. Either regular or on a decline bench. It helps strengthen the muscles in your neck leading to more firm skin in that area. Oh yeah, and it also builds core strength. 😉

I've been watching your videos for several weeks now and they are a great source of information and motivation. My husband and I are in our early 70's & late 60's. We started a water fast and today is our 4th day. After we complete our fast, we will begin your healthy keto plan. Thank you for all your videos and supplement information. Hi Dr. Berg,
If it weren't for you I would have lost my foot or even worse my leg from knee down.
I'm 62, before 2016 was full-blown type 2 taking 2000mg Metformin a day, insulin 3 times a day.
Over weight, Lose of vision, sore joint, muscle weakness & my leg was about to be gone.
Now, I don't take any drugs, feel better than in my 30's, lost weight, eyesight returned, no joint soreness,
my leg came good & just began weight training again.

Glad to find this video. I had a nice sharp chin in my early 20s, but after 7 years of mouth breathing, poor posture, wisdom teeth removal, and weight gain, my chin isn't like it used to. Going to start doing these exercises starting today!

I have been doing this for the last couple of weeks. It does definitely contract the muscles. I find it better though to just press your hands upward under your neck while you open your mouth and press down with your bottom jaw, I saw that in another video. It's better than a ball or another object. Also when I stretch my neck upwards I push out my jaw and then back into normal position and back out again and continue. I also do this by tilting my head from one side and then do reps on the other side to get the side muscles (as I also saw in another video.)

Iam a thyroid patient i gain weight rapidly I know about intermittent fasting but I didn’t took that seriously when I started watching u r videos I started and I loosing my weight as well as my skin looking too healthy thank you Dr literally my feeling is beyond words 💐thank you sooo much
