In nearly half century myself trying to keep weight in check and at same time not suffering being hungry so often ... I have been able to found just one cure - keto. Absolutely nothing gave me such control of food, before I was always slave to food, now I'm the master. :-) I would never IF if not with keto.

I find myself enjoying hunger pangs. It makes me feel my body is going to turn to autophagy.

Once you start keto or low carb and IF hunger becomes easy to handle. Now everytime I feel hunger it passes by and I dont feel rushed to eat. Also sometimes hunger gets confused with being thirsty or stressed out, which is solved quickly with some veggies or low sugar fruits.

I didn’t have an issue with hunger until I reached my goal weight. Now it’s difficult keeping my weight where I want it. I’ll never go off a ketogenic diet—I just wish I could eat a bit more.

Since I’ve lost my stomach doesn’t hold volumes also eating only the light part of a day is good....I can stop early 2:00 PM and earlier. If I start with meat and fat fullness begins quickly. If you were not fat adapted I am not sure this would work but it is how I find success .

I find hunger very rare on keto. Was a very easy jump from just keto to keto/IF. In fact I’ve lost any cravings for some guilty pleasures like keto snacks, diet drinks and even beer. I’m glad I haven’t lost my craving for boiled crawfish or they will revoke my Louisiana card.

I have insulin resistance, I have an absolute sweet tooth so I am limiting grains if I want to have something sweet after. I have about 11 cups of veg and 1 cup of fruit now. Eliminate 3x daily. I eat boiled eggs/nuts if I get hungry between meals so it does not raise insulin or as much. I’m not fasting yet, three meals a day. Starting slow. Went all in on this plan in the past and it really messed me up, but I absolutely need to fix this insulin issue as it is messing up my health, but I’m taking baby steps. I think my problem before was I loved my dessert after every meal but I also ate Carbs in every meal. So that is an overload.

It seems that your body is sensing something and desperately tries to put a label on it so you will notice. When I'm hungry, I crave tobacco and I quit that long ago. It's like it looks for an impulse to activate.

Sometimes when I do a 48 hr. fast I will get hunger pangs on the second day. I usually take a little piece of Himalayan salt and suck on it, then follow up with a pint of water. Seems to help.

We do need fiber, it is the food for the gut bacteria, if the are feeded well, they are produceing a lot of good stuff for the human body in return. Fiber is the most underrated component of our food.

So Brett there you go with that fiber nonsense again. I'm sure her. Bad all that stuff is? Depletes nutrients damages the intestinal wall and causes constipation
