These tips will help you to feel less hungry while in a calorie deficit, while improving the health of your metabolism at the same time! This truly how you suppress your appetite naturally. (as sketchy as that sounds lol)

The Pillars: Blood Sugar Management, Slow Absorbing Foods and Healthful Behaviours, help you to balance your hunger hormones which in turn increases feelings of satiety and decreases feelings of hunger.

We'll be discussing briefly the hormones insulin, ghrelin, leptin, peptide yy, cholecystokinin and others and how various foods such as high GI carbohydrates, proteins, and fiber interact with them to help you feel more full/ less hungry on a diet.

Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor or a scientist - I just read a lot of books in an attempt to understand obesity/personal transformation. I always base all my videos in science however and you can find references below.

The ideas/science in this video came from a number of diet and nutrition books - but most notably was Always Hungry by Dr. David Ludwig (Harvard). Dr. Ludwig takes a pretty moderate approach to weight loss with obese patients in his clinic - and I thought his recommendations were among the least biased!

This is true, I eat high protein breakfast now and I don't feel hungry at all, all day. Breakfast is actually the "biggest" meal of the day for me, I eat eggs, fish, beans, nuts, fruits, vegetables.... I'm one of the few people in my family who starts the day with a full meal, and not just bread and peanut butter.

Since I've started doing this, I Lost 15kg (in 6 months) and now I'm starting to see muscle definition which is Amazing because I've Never been muscular.

One thing I actually started to do was add my protein powder to my oatmeal. Not only did it increase my protein intake, but man it made me full for hours after that.

I found black beans to be my food hack. Cheap, easy to prepare, highly nutritious, has a super low glycemic index. Yeah, the flavor isn't a 10/10, but you can nearly stuff your face with it if you're having uncontrollable cravings and gain little calories in exchange all while making yourself feel satiated for a long time. Other types of beans aren't nearly as calorie -> GI efficent.

Because of how my grandma raised me, ive had a high appetite and low hunger since childhood. What's helped me has been drinking water when I want food, but I'm not physically hungry.

Last year I discovered I had PCOS and was insulin resistant. I've changed my eating habits and lost 23 kg with eating the slow absorbing foods no sugar less processed foods. Lots of fiber whole foods. It was so much easier than expected. Had no hunger issues. Never felt better.

For me, maintaining weight loss is 10x harder than losing it. Could you do a vid on how to manage weight loss since those fat cells don't ever go away and just craving to be filled up? It feels defeating. Much love!

I swear by low GI food combos. I will be able to eat once and not be hungry for hours but if I eat cereal with lots of sugar, I’m hungry in 30 minutes.

i always eat at least 2 eggs with veggies for breakfast and that can last me for a good 5-6 hours. protein and fibre are so underrated smh

Intermitting fasting works for this. At one point you don't feel hungry. It might take 2 weeks but after that you only eat to fuel your body

I can confirm for me that exercising actually makes me less hungry in long run during the day or even the week.
