I think this is huge, we had just under 900 at the time, got a message pretty much same day, and was accepted for adsense and YPP within a few days, I think its a nice stepping stone towards full monetisation, and really helped lift spirits as that first 1, 000 subs and 4, 000 hours can be a real hard slog!!

This new update is like a new mini goal for small creators, which when once achieved will help motivate them even more to keep pushing towards achieving the normal YPP requirements.

This is great news! I've just checked the "Earn" tab and filled out the appropriate documentation and just waiting for the 'review' to be completed and then I can start earning supers on my live streams wooohooo! I live in Canada, and this is actually happening. Huge and welcomed change. Cheers!
