I hate it so much that women who don't want to get pregnant or to have children are seen as "heartless" and are told "oh you'll have children one day." So what? I don't want to have kids. Does that make me a terrible person? No.

i'm 10% scared of being pregnant, 30% scared of giving birth, 60% SCARED of pooping during the labour.

If it makes anyone feel any better, my mom swears she loved being pregnant and some moms really do have that great pregnancy. Personally, I'm terrified, but I hear the reward after 9 months magically makes all discomfort worth it.

Being pregnant doesn't scare me, giving birth scares me. My mom tells me too much....

"I always wanted to be a mom, but I never wanted to be pregnant." What about adoption?

I've quite obviously never been a mother but watching this brought me to tears. Just think about your mother, and all the pain she went through. And to think my mother, despite knowing all the troubles, did this 3 times just to have the little, somewhat bratty, children that she does and still loves and admires. I'm the youngest of all my siblings which means I'm usually the pickiest, clumsiest, laziest, etc. and also means I've never really thought about this. We caused our mothers so much pain while she was preganant, and now that we're here on earth we still ask for so much. They try their hardest everyday and still give us a lot more, they give us love. Uncontrollable love. I swear a mother's love is undying. I will never ever take my mother for granted. Thank You to all the mothers out there for being true heroes <3

Haha I'm 25 weeks pregnant with my first (it's a boy!) and my pregnancy has been super easy so far, no morning sickness, no stretch marks, only think is I crave pears. I love feeling him kick.

I feel really lucky after watching this!

I've always been super afraid of pregnancy and hyper aware of everything that isn't good about it or could go wrong. Is it selfish to want to adopt even if I'm able to have a child on my own?

I'd rather adopt a kitten. They are great cuddlers, they are full of love, and they look after themselves.

Thank you for your honesty. I just wanted to add: Vaginal bleeding after giving birth. No one tells expecting parents about this but the hospital expects you to know. Your vagina is basically an open wound for weeks and you can lose a lot of blood so you wear diapers. I've read stories of people who said that it even hurts to pee and wipe so many pee into the shower and then rinse. Although medicine has improved a lot in the last 100 years pregnancy remains a difficult and dangerous thing

It's tough to watch when you're struggling to become pregnant. I would gladly take on the whole experience. I know that it will be worth it without someone telling me it would be.

With all this pregnancy stuff and baby talk on buzzfeed I think you guys should have a video or two for us childfree folk.

We are scrutinized over our life choices and the way we feel towards children.
Told that we are not mentally competent enough to make the choice to not procreate, while 16yr olds are capable of making the choice to?
Women especially are bullied and told they are not truly women if they don't procreate.

I would like to see a spin on this topic from you guys!

The older people and media should stop brainwashing women into idea, that pregnancy is "magic", that pregnant woman "glows from inside" and "feels joy of waiting a baby". Lets be honest, - pregnancy is a hard job, - and often a hard fight. Do you want to know, how it feels to be pregnant and than to go through the labor? See a typical action movie with a "good guy on a mission", saving the world. Though this process hero gets beaten, injured, insulted, loose his friends, - and finally he lays on the battlefield, covered with dirt and blood, and feels both grief for all he has lost, pride for all he has achieved, but most of all he feels dead-tired. And that is how you will feel. when your baby is small, - like a superhero, who fights alone against all the odds&enemies, - and still your mission is not over yet, because the baby has to be brought up properly also, - which takes at least 18 years. So, - good luck to all the pregnant dames, and my GRAND RESPECT to all of them, - they definitely sacrifice themselves for the survival of the humanity.

Screw being pregnant and having to give birth! If I want a child, I'm adopting.
