Tell me how Ebikers can support their Trail Associations?

Thank you for the excellent video... After suffering a stroke and spending 6 days in intensive care, during the recovery process I purchased an Ebike. I cannot say enough about how much it has help me recover my balance and coordination. I have learned alot from your videos. Sometimes I feel guilty about riding an ebike but I'm having so much fun. I have a Levo comp carbon with fox factory 36 forks and factory shock. It's way to much bike for my skill level but I look good when I'm standing still! ( I'm 71 years old and ride almost every day on trails around Chilliwack )

Great video! Thanks. I recently got a Cannondale Moterra 3 and it’s changed my life. For years I was demoralized pushing my bike up trails (60 yrs old, knees shot). Now I’m roar up steep climbs at 14 mph and riding for six hours at a time. And like you said my skills have improved exponentially in a short time. E bikes are a ton of fun.

I like the chest view better, it lets you see what the bike is doing down the trail

E-bikes are a ton of fun and really open up what you can do.
I love my Levo SL.

I have the Kenevo and took it around Entrails, Value Added, In and Out etc. I hate to pedal so I can get more laps. With an e-bike I can ride twice as much in half the time. I love it

That was a great video, I like how you showed how capable an eMTB is on tech trails. I been eMTB for about a year now and riding down local trails in my area that I won't touch on my aMTB. The eMTB just feels so planted on the downhills, I feel way more in control.

You touched on exactly why I had an e-bike. I returned to riding after being out for 4 years because of a broken back. My spine is fused and it was VERY difficult to ride an normal bike. Without it, I would have given up on biking. It whipped me back into shape and I'm back to riding an analog bike now.

Awesome video. I am a massive advocate for eBikes. An eBike got me back into biking after 10 years off the saddle. I have peripheral neuropathy (weakness, numbness, and tingling in my lower extremities), and I'm not strong enough to enjoy a regular pedal bike. My eBike allows me to ride with friends. I still sweat and grind on the climbs, and work for the descents. An eBike is undoubtedly not for lazy people. They are suitable for all riders of different skill levels. I wouldn't be riding a bike as much if I didn't own an eBike. It sucks that they are so expensive and heavy, though. I'm not a muscular guy, and the weight of my bike bothers me. I don't think my eBike is chewing up the trails. I'm not an aggressive rider. Your riding is flawless, and the videos are wickedly awesome. Cheers.

Motocross injuries can be helped by ebike and I set my Specialized through my Polar watch to 154bpm and the computer controls the motor. This has helped the right femur as i broke it in 4 places.

Great clip and good commentary the ebike is here to stay and doesn’t have any more impact on trails than a regular bike.

Thanks Remi, excellent as usual. I put about 1400 km on a YT Decoy Shred this past season and I'm converted! For people who like to go fast and test their limits, improve their skills and simply get out more and ride longer, the ebike is the way to go. Every ride I cover 50 to 80% more terrain in the same amount of time, and how that ranks me as lazy or cheating I will never understand.

THere's a misconception about ebikes brought about by people who really haven't used them. LESS judging more riding...isn't that what it's about? 😁

I was hesitant to try an e-bike after a long day of demoing other trail bikes. But I total get. It’s super cool that more people can continue mountain biking with an aid of a motor. Personally, I’m not ready to buy one for myself (still young and have time) but these things are rockets uphill and descend super confidently. Everyone should try one before knocking it.

glad that you like it! Always cool when a Pro rider shows what these things are capable of!

The chest mount definitely does give a more accurate representation of how fast you are going as the camera is closer to the trail, whereas the helmet cam makes the ride look mellow.
Also e bikes are perfect for a busy lifestyle as you can get more terrain in less time

I got a Kenevo Expert 2020 (monster bike!) and my conclusions are: 1) you definitely ride longer and more 2)great to ride even when your legs are heavy from a regular ride the day before 3) you can ride in endurance mode and have fun! 4) you ride in places and explore new areas where you have never bothered before since it would be too painful to climb...Technique is definitely different as it is much heavier and the weight it distributed differently. Sometimes I don't manage to clear quick small technical climbing challenges unless I am prepared for them as the bike is less nimble and heavier. Only down side: After I got this bike, I didn't ride my regular bike for two months out of excitement. I definitely felt that when I went on a one week enduro ride in Ainsa, Spain....Conclusion : you need to work on your leg muscles more if you ride an ebike more. Overall, fantastic experience much more fun and more riding! What can be bad?

Great video as usual.
Personally i own a ebike and i love it; here in Italy we don't have trails restriction, i think that the technology is doing Big steps every year, and every year those bikes becomes more fun to ride. I don't think that destro trail, This is up to the rider. If you're a trail destroyer, doesn't matter the bike you ride.
My 2 cents

Remy, interesting review on E-Bikes. My view is no one needs to explain the choice of a Hybrid powered MTB to anyone, it’s their choice. Can’t understand the haters over this. All bike designs and specs have their merits plus and minus. I brush my teeth with a manual thing I shove in my face, my wife has an electric toothbrush, we both have clean teeth 🤪 no difference. Oh and chesty felt better . Thank for upload 🤘🇨🇭

I love ebikes. Good video. People need to understand this fact about ebikes. They are more fun than you can imagine.

Cube are on a roll this year. The Stereo 170 29er seems to be a great bike.
The Stereo Hybrid is probably one of best value E-MTBs here in Australia at the moment.
