Do you want to make Brazilian Steakhouse Picanha steak right at home? Well here is the video to show you how to do it. The Queen of Steaks, Picanha goes by many names, Rump Cap, Coulotte, Top Sirloin Cap or rump cover. Whatever you want to call it, we call it delicious. We took it and reverse seared it over hot fire on an M-16 grill for you. Give it a shot, it is easy and the incredibly beefy flavor is sure to please any pallet. Add in the tasty chimichurri recipe that we made here and you'll be in heaven!

Nice to see some wholesome father-daughter interaction. Y'all have the same energy and sense of humor 😂 I can't wait until my daughter gets older so I can show her the wonders of BBQ and grilling 😁

I absolutely love this channel and now I exclusively use FOGO charcoal in my BGE. I was skeptical before but this absolutely blow other lump charcoal out the water. Keep up the good work.

I've never had picanha. I just ordered the M16 grill today so it's definitely going to be on my BBQ bucket list. Great video.

Very nice. Looks amazing. Funny, my daughter is the same way! When dad cooks, all of a sudden they are over visiting. Lol

Is scoring the meat more decorative or does it allow the seasoning to penetrate deeper? Another GREAT Video!

Hi Ron. I noticed you cut the steaks with the grain. I know that if you cook a Tri-Tip you cut against the grain. Why would picanha be different? Just curious.

Got my Oklahoma Joe grill I've actually had Picanha in Brazil and the States never cooked it but butcher box offers a smaller chunk of it just got it last night can't wait to throw it on the grill for dinner.

Looks like perfection! Can’t wait to try it! About how long did you leave in on the grill? Also, could this be done on a propane grill?

That Pichana needed leaving in the fridge on a rack with pink salt underneath, for at least two weeks.

I don’t think I would have put it back on to sear. I thought it looked great as it was. Or maybe seared half just to compare.
