I think procrastination usually is a fear of something. You must find what you are scared of and realize it isn't that scary. Always works for me and is probably the best thing you can do for yourself.

Procrastinating is my absolute BIGGEST flaw. I procrastinate doing and folding laundry, and cleaning dishes, I procrastinate going to sleep, I procrastinate filling out forms and tasks of organization, making phone calls, buying groceries, cooking dinner, planning and preparing for events, paying bills, and I procrastinate in getting help. Now I realize, maybe my problem isn't procrastinating, it's being self-forgiving. Thanks DNews!!

This won't work for me, I don't feel bad about procrastinating, and forgiveness is pointless and achieves nothing if you don't actually feel like you're doing something wrong, and thus I keep procrastinating.  Science you have failed me! :(
