So men dont care what a woman does for work as long as shes hot, and women dont care if a guy is ugly if hes got money.

"Resource Access" is a crazy way of saying you dont care what they look like if they have money 😂

Traveled the world, realized the following: guys like pretty girls, girls like rich guys.

My mom been broke with 7 kids and from living from home to home, trying to make friends and overall just not locking in and realizing your life is your own even if you come from sleeping in parks and alleys to having your own the words love and relationship are dreams and nightmares you wish you could experience in real life, I seriously don't know what I'm here for if I have no motivation to start a family, go out, and just live. Life is way worse for others and I still got a heartache that makes me want to find the most peaceful way to leave this earth and be free from all this

From where I'm standing, it's all about what our parents were. Most fathers were providers, therefore showing their daughters that they needed to find ressource cues in men. When a woman had a slightly different dad, a man with culture, emotional maturity, artistic abilities, etc., her vision of what a partner should be shifts. So much of how we see life has to do with how we were brought up as kids.

EDIT: yeah, I shouldn't have written "it's all about what are parents were". It's a bit more nuanced :-) But I love the discssion we're having !

Men are visual.
Women are visual and want to know you have resources. Facts.

yep, we are changing things ❤️. my boyfriend and I met up when i was a student and he had started his first job. he did not had money, i did not had money. here we are, 11 years after and i could not care less how much he made back then, he liked that he felt this relationship flow easy and now we are both succesfull (carrear wise), have a happy life and do not fear the future. I say that this was a win and that a change in the mindset is happening, but a change like this has to be perpetuaded along many people so it will take a few years 🤗. have faith there!

I did an essay on this in uni, sexual selection. It's usually an unconscious choice but a woman's choice in men is often, unconsciously, decided by his physical health, access to resources e.g. money (historically, food) and also genital size/health. This is all because unconsciously women want a man who will be able to help create healthy children and help provide for them. Similarly men are unconsciously attracted to "beautiful" women - big breast, big hips/ass, healthy looking - because they want healthy children, a mother who can breastfeed them and be able to deliver them without passing away.
Of course all of this is heavily influenced by our conscious minds and individual differences, preferences and societal beauty standard trends/expectations but in evolutionary psychological terms thats how it is. Thankfully we are not necessarily slaves to our base unconscious minds.

Attraction and actually choosing that person to be with are two different things. You can find both women attractive but it would be more interesting to know who they would actually pursue if presented with both.

So true. I've dated a female lawyer and i have also dated a young Starbucks worker. It really depends on your sence of humor, a talent or if you have an ambition in life. At the end of the day respect, and listening is yhe key.

“Women Modulate their choices depending on what resource cues men shows for provisioning”

Man!! the choice of words she used to galvanize the obvious is commendable 👏👏

the only thing that actually matters in a relationship is chemistry.

Learned this as a child my father had 5 women and he was not a looker, I was confused on how he had so many women until I heard the conversations he'd have with them and it was all about him paying their bills and giving them advice.

I find powerful women that are equally externally beautiful very appealing to me personally. These type of women would intimidate some guys, but not me for some strange reason. I'm currently not wealthy myself, but I just don't see a barrier there as long as the attraction is mutually reciprocated. But then again, attraction can be unpredictable. Like they say, opposites attract each other.

I think it’s less about money and more about stability, maturity, ambition, and power. (From a women’s perspective towards attractive men)

There is good reason for this. Women depend on men while pregnant + while the kids are young. That’s why the ability to provide matters to women and not men.

I think human beings are a lot more complicated than just focusing on looks. Looks, money and status plays a large role in sexual selection, theres also alot more such as personality, life circumstances, culture compatibility, shared life goals etc.
