I loved your fair comparison. It was interesting to see that the Z Fold cameras came out on top here. Everyone seems to be giving the Z Fold a hard time about its camera hardware wishing for Ultra cameras instead of reviewing them for what they are instead of what they want them to be. Also, while the cover display isn't a traditional size wouldn't you say that helps aid the good aspect ratio of the inner display? If the cover was wider, you'd have similar letterboxing issues the Pixel Fold and OnePlus Open have. I feel like that and the fact that the cover display is very one-hand friendly should be something positive to add to the discussion in regard to the cover display.

I was first gonna buy a pixel 9 pro fold since I had a z fold 2 back in the day. And i thought that the front screen was way to narrow for daily use, sold the phone again shortly after I bought it. But a week ago I bought z fold 6 and the front screen is absolutely fine, sure i wish it was a tiny bit wider but it's nothing that's bothering me to much and it's fine to write on etc. I like the symmetry of the z fold 6 compared to the pixel 9 pro fold.

I’d pick the pixel. Camera and benchmarks don’t matter to me. Software and userbility matters more. I have the zfold 4 and wish for a wider front display and google software.

Boggles my mind how everyone prefers the inside screen when playing first person shooters where you totally crop off the sides and are at a disadvantage. The front screen on the zfold gives you the best viewing angle as you get more on the screen. Even compared to the front cover of the pro 9 fold super extreme xl.

Man the pixel 9 pro fold is gorgeous, would easily sway me from the fold 6 if only google stuck with Qualcomm, their tensor chips are junk, I’m not spending $2000 on phone with performance from 4 years ago.

I bought both: Fold 6 Navy Blue 1Tb, pre-ordered last month and recieved on launch day. It's my current device.
My Pixel 9 Fold Pro is on pre-order, for the Obsidian with 512GB model. It's supposed to ship next week.
I paid all in full / cash for all with extra warranty and accessories (case and screen protectors).
Can't wait for my Pixel Fold 9 to arrive. It's supposed to have wifi 7 (Fold 6 is only Wifi6E) which I have at home: I'm using 2 ASUS GT-BE98 Pro in mesh with 10gbe wired backhaul. My home server is a Synology 8 drive unit with 8x 22TB (2 fault tolerance) and 10gbe connection.
Internet connection is 3Gb/sec up and down (fastest available in my area).
These devices are going to be beastly which is commensurate with my home PC and network setup.
