Since Blender 2.93, Eevee's depth of field rendering looks much better right out of the box, giving shallow focus renders beautiful soft bokeh backgrounds. There are also a number of new settings, which can make it look even better. In this short video, we look at what they do.

In older Blender version was pretty hard to get a nice DOF.

You can use Depth of field in Solid view by checking the "depth of field" box from drop-down menu
