It is estimated that one out of every nine people older than 65 has Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.

Today, we’ll be talking about one group of vitamins you should prioritize, if you want to prevent cognitive decline. And the FOUR foods that cause brain inflammation you’ll want to avoid.

When it comes to keeping your brain young and healthy, B vitamins are absolutely necessary.

Getting this vitamin from foods and supplements helps improve brain power and focus, and prevents memory loss.

That’s because depression, dementia and mental impairment are often associated with a deficiency of B vitamins.

There are eight different B vitamins, each with its own primary health benefits for your brain and more.

Did you know some foods can harm your gut bacteria and trigger metabolic processes that cause brain inflammation?

Inflammation affects your brain and can lead to depression, anxiety, irritability, anger, memory loss, and fatigue. But the most common symptom of brain inflammation is brain fog, that feeling of slow and fuzzy thinking.

If you want to fight inflammation in your body, and boost brain health, sharp thinking and good decision-making, there are four foods you should try to cut back on or completely avoid.

You did not mention poor ABSORBTION by digestion in "senior citizens." Older folks do not make enough stomach acid to digest and absorb B-vitamins well, especially B-12 and "Folate." These need to be taken "sublingually" by dissolving under the tongue for better absorbing directly to the blood vessels there. These are a little harder to find, called "dissolving lozenges."

Also important is that there are two forms of Cobalamin and Folate: "cyano-cobalamin" B-12 and "METHYL-cobalamin B-12;" "Folate" and "METHYL-folate." The methyl versions are harder to find and more expensive, but they are much more readily used in the body for a greater and faster effect.

The sublingual METHYL versions of these two B vitamins in relatively large daily doses give rapid and powerful effects against several "auto-immune" diseases such as Psoriasis and Peripheral Nerve Pain! I have had huge improvements with these
