BODYWEIGHT BRIDGE: Tutorial

The bodyweight bridge is one of my favorite exercises! It's great for building a strong and flexible spine.

While it may seem difficult for some, almost anyone can build up to it with the right progressions.

Funny thing: So today I actually did the video work for a Stand-to-Stand Bridge tutorial (imagine leaning back into a bridge from a standing position). However, I realized I had never posted the tutorial for a normal Bridge on YouTube, so I decided to post this first! It's an older video but I hope you all like it. I don't expect bridging videos to be very popular (most people don't know the exercise or want to do it), but the bridge is still one of my favorite exercises and I'm happy to share it.

He feels like an anime character that has already gone through his main journey and is transitioning into the wise old man who is gentle yet powerful as can be

as someone who’s never been able to do a bridge and has always wanted to learn, this is incredibly helpful. thank you for this, Hampton!

". . . I'm a little embarrassed."
And the sun wasn't okay with that, so it came back.

Tusen takk, Hampton! You are one of the sole reasons my day is beautiful. {Seriously, my man. You are the main reason I'm in better shape then I was several months ago. Without your help, I'm not sure I would still be on my fitness journey.}

At 340lbs (I was 360lbs in January and have been dieting and trying to be more active to turn my physical health around.) my body isn't ready to do a lot of the exercises that you show on your channel... However all of your videos are so wholesome and none of them have ever made me feel ashamed of being unable to do what you do. I love and appreciate your content and I look forward to implementing your tips into my routine as my body gets stronger.

I cannot thank you enough for not only teaching how to do some great exercises with proper form, but how to actually build up to them safely. This has changed so much about how I progress through workouts, the information you provide has been a blessing.

one of the very few fitness youtubers who focuses more on giving tips rather than showing off and flexing their bodies! and the best thing I like about his videos is, in spite of being short, his tips actually works! My best wishes for this channel.

I've always had the flexibility to do the bridge but not the strength to hold myself up. So thank you for showing me how I can progress towards that. Have a beautiful day!

As a cheerleader, backbends are so important for many things. Back aches? Backbend. Need to pull a back skill? Backbends. It also helps with mediating in a way.

I have waited for someone to teach me this!
When I was a child I did bridges all the time and loved that I was able to do it. Puberty hit me hard and I gained a lot of weight, got really conscious about my body and stopped doing sports because other kids would bully me. Now, at almost 30, I really wanna be more healthy and fitter, so I started excercising, and build some of your tips into my routines - now I am glad this video finally showed up in my recommended, so I can safely start working up to someday being able to do the bridge again! Yay!

Doing something like this seems so out of reach to me, but your videos explaining the process is SO encouraging! Starting small can make a difference over time
