i've been working on my bridge using your recommendations. i tried elevating my feet, but had to come out immediately as i got unbelievable cramps in both of my hamstrings. i'm tight as a drum, but i'm slowly beginning to loosen up. another thing i've been doing is rolling back into the bridge atop a large exercise ball. that allows me to stay in position for more time than i can without that assistance. i'm old (67), but i have exercised very consistently my entire life, so i'm not too worried about injuring myself as long as i don't try to rush my progress.

You could have made your girl the thumbnail and gotten 10 times more view, but you have class.

One of the people I've met in my travels still has and has had a fairly successful yoga school for decades. I asked him about his experience and he told me that he and his wife started off being the worst in the class by a long way, by far the stiffest. Part of what made his school so successful was his direct personal understanding of how to go from being very stiff to being quite good at yoga as that along that journey he learned the keys that he could pass along to others. When I first saw some of your stuff, I thought you were one of those who'd never known what it was like to be truly locked up and tight, but nope. Similar path.

It's not always the case, but many times those who truly struggle to achieve success in any area become some of the best teachers as they are fully aware of hard it can be to get there, and that innate understanding helps them to help others. Can't get through to everyone obviously, but in the various things I've taught over the years when conveying the information/method I take from the things I struggled to learn rather than the things I had a natural aptitude for, even when I've been teaching things that many said I had a natural talent for and/or was gifted in that area.

Teaching people of your failures, mistakes, hardships, and the path out of them is one of the most valuable and underrated methodologies out there.

All about getting that ego out of the way and bringing forth whatever potential may be there and helping it grow.

In good areas of course!

Love it, I think I'm going to start working on bridges. I need the shoulder flexibility/mobility and lacking the strength there too so win win! Love how your girl just drops into the perfect bridge like it's nothing just to show you up lol

I was trying this for weeks now during my training. Elevating just showed me immediately that my forearms are waay to tight. Rest is kinda fine.
Thx, now i know where to work next

I was literally looking into how to backbend because I am thoroughly unimpressed with my spine flexibility lol, this was THE perfect video. I can't stress this enough. 😂🧘🏻‍♀️

Interesting progression, I didn't get far when I was doing the convict conditioning moves. Will have to try this out. And who is the super bendy girl btw?
