If anybody's wondering...yes, it's worth making. Requires minimal effort and comes out crusty every time. Makes great toasted sandwiches, French toast, even croutons.

I encourage everyone to research the difference between using real active yeast (sourdough starter) and "instant yeast." There is a significant impact on your health.

Instant yeast has contributed to gluten resistance and obesity in the USA. Sourdough starter properly interacts with gluten, allowing your body to break it down and absorb nutrients more effectively. Instant yeast, developed during the war to speed up bread-making, doesn't offer these benefits.

Although it may not seem like a big difference at first glance, the choice between instant yeast and sourdough starter has a substantial impact on your health.

Easy Artisan bread with dry east

3, 5cups all purpose flour
2 tsp cusher salt
half tsp instant dry east
Give it a mix
1 and 3/4 cups worm water 107°F, stir, if it is still dry add more water slowly till you get sticky texture
Rest covered 5 to 8 hrs room temperature
Dust counter and hands
Fold in all 4 sides, rest it dusted and covered
Add an empty 4 or 6 quart Dutch oven for 30 min at 425°F,
dust with flower, make the slides
Into the oven for 30 min
Remove the lid and return into the oven 5 to 10 min to further brown the top

This is a good bread recipe and it’s full proof! Using parchment in the pot makes it easier to remove. Just a tip.

I would recommend parchment paper in the Dutch oven to keep it from sticking to the bottom.

I've been doing this for a while now, I love it. Get a high quality Olive paste and run it through the dough when it's wet, you can also dust black olives and flour and throw them in for a nice olive bread

I’ve made this recipe a few times now and it’s delicious! So easy to follow and once it’s done you put a little butter on the bread and it’s fantastic 🤤💕

I love her recipe I enjoy listening to her talking while I'm putting it together everyone thinks it's amazing the crunchy crust is the best. I usually make sourdough bread but I enjoy this one I think a little more.
