And if you pull the dip stick and your oil looks like a milk shake, you have a blown head gasket! Probably the easiest way to tell

This video really hits home for anyone that has had a Chrysler PT Cruiser, especially the ones that had turbo!

I need to point out, even engines in perfect condition blow white smoke out the exhaust pipe. But that only happens the first time of the day its started and when everything is still cold, of course. That white smoke is just condensation from inside the exhaust system getting blown out and burnt out as the car warms up.
The thing to worry about is not if water is coming out, since all cars do this when cold! Only if you look in the tailpipe and see Green or Red liquid (i.e. COOLANT) dribbling out that you need to be concerned.
Incidentally, a whole lot of blown head gasket repairs could be avoided, if the owner changed the coolant every 2 or 3 years (regardless of what the carmaker says)! Old coolant is much more likely to cause corrosion of your head gasket than fresh, clean coolant.

You have to pressure test it to be sure whether it's a head gasket or intake gasket problem. It may also be a leak in the water pump, upper or lower radiator holes, thermostat housing, or even freeze plugs. It's called the process of illumination. There are no shortcuts to this!

I'm not selling it but I put some head gasket seal if not too bad and keep on driving it for years.

You get white smoke out of the exhaust until the engine is warmed up.

Thanks to you tube I changed my head gasket myself on my 2018 Honda accord. Saved 6000 dollars that I didn’t have.

I had a Grand Cherokee I suspected had a blown head gasket. It poured white smoke on warm Arizona afternoons. Oil on the dipstick looked fine, no oil in the coolant reservoir either. I started the cold engine w/o the radiator cap, but I didn't see bubbles until I revved the engine to 1500+rpm.

in other words head gaskets keep 3 wholes from from connecting to each other. oil, coolant and the piston chamber where the combustion happens. oil and coolant milk shake. oil and combustion white smoke. combustion and coolant bubbles in radiator cab. 😊

Use K-Seal... I have a 94 Celica that I bought five years ago and used K-Seal and have never had any issues ever since. My 94 Celica has over 344, 000 miles on it and runs like a clock. ⏰❤

Love it! Thank you for your knowledge ma guy! I saved so much money watching your videos. The only thing I need mechanical expertise is in shaving the heads, replacing a camshaft, crankshaft, rods, pistons heads, and other internal mechanism, other than that I could do everything myself. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. 😉♥️💯‼️

Coolant tabs work wonders for sealing small cracks

You can also use a radiator pressure tester. Put it on the radiator when the car is cold and start it up. If the pressure starts to go up before the engine gets hot, the head gasket is most likely blown.

Can you show us how to check if your car is a '94 Celica or not?

My antifreeze/coolant reservoir on my hyundai elantra 2017 empties out quickly the next day.
I fill it up and the next day it empties out again. What is the problem?
There use to be a leak on the hose thats connected to the engine i believe but i fixed that. Now could it be the leak is inside the engine? Please help.

I had a head gasket replaced and coolant has disappeared ever since. I don't think it needed a head gasket since it was just running rough one morning, with no other symptoms.
