I heard this idea of a dude at my Gym. "If you can´t bench 60 kilos, don´t come to the gym." I was flabberghasted. You´re at the gym. There to *G E T* stronger. Some people man.

Social media has trained us all to believe that a 100KG bench press is a starters weight. Being able to bench 100KG is a monumental effort that most people will never be able to do. Keep everything relative lads and ladies. Don't ever let these social media influencers make you doubt yourselves. Definitely never compare yourself to them

I did 3 sets of lateral raise with 10kg dumbbells; suffice to say, my shoulder was in pain for a week. Don't increase your weight too soon my friends...

I still remember when a 12 pound lateral raise was nigh impossible for me. It truly does not matter the weight you are currently lifting; so long as you remain consistent and implement progressive overload, you will see gains. Stay strong kings :)

I started with 5lb dumbbells and slowly replaced them over time with 10lbs. Since it happened gradually I never thought about the math. This video made me realize that I had a 100% increase in my strength after my first two months. Still feeling the weight but I can also feel the reps getting easier with the 10lb dumbbells.

ALWAYS START LIGHT!! Don’t listen to the people who say “if you’re not going heavy, you’re weak!” They’re the real bitches. They’re so insecure that they think if they’re not lifting heavy then that makes them a lesser person. Do what works for you. Start light. Don’t overwork yourself to compensate for insecurity. Accept that you’ll be stronger in the future.

At any point you are lifting and staying consistent, you are improving. Even if you stay at the same weight, you are still training DISCIPLINE. Carry on and stay strong.

Lmao and I'm doing 10 pounds for 3 sets of 15 with good form. Feels much better than when i did 15 with sloppy form and ended up injuring my shoulder
