Here are 3 useless exercises that you may still be doing. Number 1, the arnold press. Rotating your arms back and forth adds absolutely no benefit, so just do your normal seated shoulder press on a 60-75 degree incline, keeping your elbows tucked in and driving your arms back over your head. Number 2, tricep kickbacks.If you were to just rotate your body 30 degrees, you’ll notice that this is the exact same movement as a tricep pushdown. This allows you to load heavier and more comfortably instead of tilting forward to accomplish the same thing. Finally number 3 is the dumbbell hex press. Now, when it comes to training the chest, you always want to stretch the muscle fibers at the bottom by bringing your arms apart, which is something you just can’t do by holding the dumbbells together. So just do a normal bench press with dumbbells or a barbell and you’ll be fine.
