How a 3 Day Water Fast Prepared Me for 3 Evacuations in 36 Hours
Показать описание
This video was recorded live on Thursday January 9th during the Pacific Palisades and LA fires in January 2025.
As I share this video, I want to acknowledge the immense devastation caused by the recent LA fires. While I am deeply impacted by what I’ve experienced, I recognize that many others in the Palisades and surrounding areas have been hit even harder- losing their homes, belongings, and loved ones.
This video is not about seeking sympathy for me; it’s a raw and vulnerable moment as I process the trauma from this event. I’m currently experiencing the aftermath of the fires, including PTSD, but my focus here is on the community and how we can come together to support those who have been most affected.
We are actively working to provide support through trusted nonprofits to aid those in need which I’ll link below.
Please, let’s keep this space focused on helping and healing, and refrain from political discussions. This is about coming together to make a positive impact in light of this tragedy for LA.
Thank you for your understanding and for your willingness to support those who need it most.
How You Can Help:
Supplying resources to firefighters battling the wildfires, such as emergency personal fire shelters for firefighters, hydration packs and wildfire tools.
Provides financial aid to firefighters and their families who have lost homes, been injured or have lost their lives due to wildfires
The organization's Los Angeles Relief Team is providing meals to first responders and victims
Providing emergency shelter and safety for displaced dogs, helping cover costs of medical care for injured or at-risk dogs, supplying food and essentials and fostering displaced dogs
Care for children, relief for families, resilience for communities.
