hi, non-asian here, you can buy rice flour at your local grocery store, and instead of korean chili paste, you can just substitute some kind of hot sauce and even more chili powder. If you wanna add some kind of protein, instead of the fish cake you can add sausage. But most people don't even cook the food, we just come for nino so I'm useless😩

I just made this (didn’t have fish cake, so just added more boiled eggs) but it was delicious! The flavour is so bold that I still have to get used to it, but it was fun making the rice cake from scratch and I will definitely try out more rice cake recipes
