It's such a validating experience when you first take your meds, to realize you really were playing the game on hard mode for all those years.

I just started taking it today and I’m already noticing a world of difference. My biggest issue with ADHD was not being able to focus and feeling like the day was dragging. I become very impatient and antsy and want to just leave work and go do something else. This medication is helping me calm down and just go with the flow and not be so distracted by the clock.

I was diagnosed with adhd at 11, my mom made it a point to not put me on any meds. Fast forward, I’m 25 now, in college…. Still, and my cousin who also has bad adhd was like “here bro try this” march 15 of this year. Literally changed my entire life. The way you said “I feel like I’m in control of my life” couldnt have put it anymore perfect. I don’t feel that it give me an “addiction crave” but it just makes me feel normal, I feel able to concentrate. My mind isnt racing or hyper fixating on one thing and turning it into a novel. No idea how to get a prescription, but being able to have it for college as well as my future job for tests would literally be a game changer.

It gave me this grandiose attitude, that ended up being detrimental to me and my relationships in the long run. You end up thinking you are smarter and quicker than everyone because of the effects of being jacked up on stimulants.

I was prescribed Adderall because I have a problem sleeping through the day and through jobs. I received my first prescription of Adderall this week and, I must say, I was a little skeptical being that there are songs about Adderall and Red Bull out there. But, I totally agree immediately after the first pill I felt as if my brain was finally quiet for the first time. I felt like I could think clearly and not irrationally through my emotions. So far, I’m confident about my prescription and, honestly, I wish I would have had it sooner.

I was just prescribed adderall 5mg in the morning and 5mg in the afternoon. It has already truly helped me with my anxiety and my scrabbled up brain.. I have now more control of my day and can now be more productive and motivated to get stuff done! I’m planning on going back to school for psychology next spring and I truly cannot wait to tackle some homework!! lol love you guys!!
