The biggest problem in this posture for beginners is the "sway back" and we are seeing this happen in this demo. Bodyweight on the heels should bring the legs into a straight vertical position, so that the hips are in line with heels from the side and not forward. The action of "push hips little bit forward opening up hips and pelvis" is countered by the action of "body weight on the heels" so the result should be a vertical position and we are seeing here a very definite and slight back bend. "upper body back couple inches" should correct the hunchback position but not bring the shoulders behind the hips when viewed from the side. The spine should bend absolutely straight line, not with an arch in it.

When did Bikram ever say to make the thigh muscles rock hard? He never once says to tighten anything in the legs or hips in this posture. He only says to keep the legs straight -- doesn't even say to lock the knees.
