Another really good recipe that my mom cut down on the sugar on. We messed it up a little by not waiting for the cake to cool before putting the lemon frosting/glaze on, but it was still fine. We just didn't have time to wait a few hours for the cake to cool. So the frosting ended up melting on the cake and running down the sides.

Love these videos. 80% of the Greek recipes you cook are what I ate growing up in Sicily.Is it because the Greeks ruled there 5000 years ago and stayed? So many Greek communities there still.Angelo you're the bomb!

Call the frosting, a glaze, it’s translucent or lighter than a frosting. It looks amazing, I love the height it got.

Love your mom's cooking videos thanks! Also, instead of frosting you can make a lemon glaze with just powdered sugar and lemon juice - no need for butter :)

We love it and want to make it. Try creaming butter and powdered sugar first before adding water to make a better frosting consistency.

Oh Yeah Can You ask Ma if she will make the really way for well I cannot spell it I can say it but not spell, Ask Ma if she can make the Mashed Potato spread with Garlic? We like to put on Fish or Bread I love my Greek Bread I make with this, But I buy a small jar with a paste and I mix with the Mashed Potato's and mix well, I want to make from Scratch, Mama is gone so I have no one to ask for help that's alive. Only Family like me Born here in Tarpon Springs, I know the no so real ethnic way so I buy that paste in a jar and mix in the Potatos. Why so much butter for the cream lol.
Angelo stop burping in your videos it’s gross.
Make an easy glaze with 1.5 cups powdered sugar and a few drops of lemon juice, that’s it and drizzle it over top
