so technically it would make sense for maximizing synthesis to eat quality protein between 5am-10am.
Then you train later in the day, as resistance exercise stimulates protein synthesis too, and have a protein meal afterwards. But not too late before bed as you want recovery over night taking place and not digestion.

It is in alignment with his values to eat animal protein? I can understand people prefer animal protein but how can it be a value to kill creatures to eat?
