Mad respect to Justin. Most youtubers would take this chance to spend the entire video selling you their protein powder and other supplements. But instead of shilling you actually give good information and let people know that they don't NEED to take anything!

I wake up 4:20 in the mornings to rush breakfast in before leaving for work. Instead of stuffing my face forcing down a bunch of dry bread or porridge I now instead just take a protein shake with oil together with some rich in fiber sandwiches to get the calories and protein in. It's just convenient and quick and makes me able to sleep more, worry less about time and reduces stress while still getting solid calorie and protein.

I rarely use it anymore. I have a chocolate and vanilla whey and a chocolate casein. I use the vanilla for breakfast recipes mainly like French toast and stuff and the chocolate whey I used maybe once or twice a week if I’m being honest. The casein I take two scoops before work if I don’t feel like cooking anything before. It’s honestly best to just eat real food or incorporate into recipes bc the protein shakes get so old so fast and you end up dreading them.

It's a supplement, there to supplement your diet. Honestly, it's more of a convenience thing as Justin said. I'm having trouble reaching my protein goals on a diet without a shake so I just use it for convenience whenever I want during off days or as pwm.

Not on top my meal planning and i struggle to eat i was taking it and doin mma for 5 months went from 126lbs at 5'10 to 134lbs now im in a worse mental place and struggle eating even more now im 5'10 120-121lbs back to powder we go i also had a fall forcing ne to quit mma

My reason, it's way cheaper than any kind of meat you might get your proyien from, the only other cheaper source might be lentals etc, which I would not want to eat every single day

The other reason it's useful for me is to just turn low protein things into high protein things. Or to just add flavor. So basically I put it in my oatmeal and Greek yogurt.

Fitness influencers need to understand most people don't live and breath this stuff. We have careers, family, social life and hobbies outside of of fitness. Protein powder is damn near necessary for putting on lean mody mass for the vast majority of people.
