Yamaha Tenere 700 first impressions and proposed accessories

The new Yamaha Tenere 700 has just landed at Outback Motortek! This bike is very special and we couldn't be more excited to have it.

I like the way you guys, think of achieving the highest degree of protection for each machine, including in this case, the obvious extension of your bashplate length, to include the stock linkage.

I’d like to see a bash plate with secret storage like the Dakar ones. Also a nice clean and simple rear luggage rack that also protects the bike when dropped and that can be fitted with the Mosko backcountry soft panniers. The Yamaha luggage rack and frame protectors just look too busy and heavy, and their bash plate looks too big and over engineered!

Red and white is definitely the best colour scheme for this bike. Yamaha ought to have protected that lower linkage and the water pump though.

I just recently put on the ultimate combo bars/ skid plate for my ATAS from you guys. I didn't even get a full OM Outback Motortek sticker, just the OM one. Anyways. This bike looks good.

The engine looks like it sits high in the frame, exhaust going under the engine looks like a road bike design and that linkage after the bashplate looks like a big oversight
