The Tenere 700 took a long time to come to market and is still not in the North American market, I hope the extra time was used to war test this bike so that it can be rugged and totally reliable. This looks like it is gonna be a world winner if they can produce in enough numbers once word spreads that it is for real. How tall are you and how much can it be lowered by adjusting the seat, I know the Super Tenere has bushings that adjust to drop the seat almost an inch.

Considering the relatively narrow front tire, does it really need a double-disc front brake system? It seems that a good single would be more then enough for the front tire to handle, meanwhile saving a bit of weight.

Of course that's contrary to the "more is better" mentality. So maybe that's the answer...

I've changed plenty on my t7 stands crash bars etcetera why bother with the pipe the weight difference is negligible and a different sound is unnecessary . A thousand dollars I will quite happily spend elsewhere
