Tenere is a near license to print money. Bike has demanded nothing since it started. Dealerships don't have anything to do, no major issues, few options and everything is on the consumer. So they changed the LCD and you can get luggage, lowering kit and that's where all the confusion stopped, prices have been stable, supply is back on track so you don't have to wait a year for a new motorcycle. Yamaha also has huge aftermarket and worldwide dealer support so you can really ride it anywhere and you are only a FedEx or other express delivery away from parts.. I have seen people in Baja that started in Alaska and will do a Patagonia bucket list trip and have zero serious issues with the bike. Gas tank is a problem, can really only be solved by Yamaha and increase to gas will only make bike more top heavy. You see some obvious things that they should do. Respring the bike. Forks and shock are way too underrated and tubeless wheels. But for the most part Yamaha nailed the market, middle aged men who are going to be @90-10 and the 10% off road is not technical and fire roads and dirt roads. Bike can do freeway and keep an @80+ mph pace. They will probably introduce a triple and use the 900..or just make the bike, up the 9 to 1000cc, cruise control, tubeless, little better wind protection and it would eat everything else for lunch, GS twice the price, Ducati is $18, 890.. Yamaha could easily make a new super Tenere that would destroy everything else.. the real puzzle is Kawasaki.. they have frames and a bigger twin but never even tried.. the Versys platform is terrible, the KLR is strange at this point..

This or the MT10sp I can't choose. I think ill eventually buy both. I just don't know what to get first. T7 really fits my lifestyle right now. Long trips, lots of miles but the MT10sp is fas comfortable man yamaha make good bikes

Tenere 700 is a great bike. It takes me everywhere, but a little too top-heavy. But otherwise it's like a train that goes everywhere.

When i test rode this bike, one thing i couldnt stand, was the wind noise.man, you defenetely need earplugs.i think a shorter windscreen will be better than a taller one.anyway, for this reason and becouse am getting older, lower seat, i think i ll go for the transalp, which i didnt had the chance to ride it in the open road at high speeds, as i did with tenere, but i think its better.also i m not gonna do hard off roading.a want a bike to last for years, so, japan is the only way.and i didnt like the new vstrom that much, although the motor slays

What about the seat? Is it confortable? It looks like too narrow!
