How to tell if that click is really your jaw

Sometimes it's difficult to differentiate between the different sounds that can happen in the head and neck. In this video, I'll briefly describe some ways to determine if it's really your jaw.

My jaw doesn't click when i open or when i close.

My jaw clicks exactly when i open my mouth about 50%, and then move my lower jaw to the right in an upwards motion.

Why would this be?

my back teeth can not touch. Have bad TMJ flare x 3 mos. So, what do you do when your back teeth dont touch? (wasnt mentioned). I have overbite. Since TMJ cant touch backteeth. (normally, yes they can touch). So: I had few bad POPS in R ear. Now, TMJ much worse. *so cant use these tips (slight pressure front of ear) as doesnt work for this gal. Hoping to figure out -and what about slipped condyle disc?

Hi doc so my jaw clicks every time I open my mouth when I chew sometimes it doesn’t click there’s times I feel like the click is coming from my throat but it feels closer to the ear can that be my ear dysfunction making that sound ??

Mine clicking only when i talk but not all words only in certain words or when sometimes i swallow. but chewing and opening dint click.. Im on chiro now cause i heard cracking too in my cervical and he said neck ang scm is connected. cuz my scm was so tight...
