Tammy is so gentle and sweet. I can't see her as being someone that is difficult to get along with. She also articulates her thoughts well. A beautiful spirit.

My parents despised each other, and they stayed together. Just because people het married and stay married doesn't mean they truly love each other.

The phrase "play along" is likely to make many people think of "giving in to get along", i.e. self sacrifice, capitulation. This is not what Jordan seems to really mean. He seems to be referring, rather, to engaging cooperatively with another human in a way that is mutually beneficial, mutually uplifting.

Who on earth is the blonde chick? She looks so uncomfortable (face expression), closed and nervous (arms crossed) and bored (on phone) this whole interview 😮

People have zero idea what marriage means. You should never ever get married if you don't truly love the person and true love isn't emotional it's a commitment to fight for life for each other

“If divorce is an option you just won’t solve the problem”. Profound statement. I love hearing the three of them talk together.

Love is willing sacrifice, putting your partner's needs before your own. If you have a partner that's not willing to do that, or only does it begrudgingly, your relationship is going to be in serious trouble soon.

When I was a kid I thought my grandparents hated each other. They hardly ever looked at each other or did kind things for one another. Sometimes they'd say something to each other and the silence afterwards was LOUD (my grandfather was usually the offender). Eventually, my grandma died, and I spent the night at my grandfather's house many months later. He moaned like a wounded animal in his sleep, saying my grandmother's name for hours. I never once saw my grandfather get emotional while he was awake. They were married for 60 years. He's in his 90s now, and I'm sure he is full of regret.

If you won't or one partner won't solve the problem - then divorce may be the option. Best example - forced celibacy within marriage, how many years or decades must someone sacrifice while never being kissed or made love to? eventually - leaving is the only option. Surrender to it and you will resent the withholding partner.
