This is honestly scarier if not only if it were a two way mirror but if you shine the light and see a person on the other side all while you're in the pitch dark bathroom

You forgot to mention that you need to hold it right up to the mirror to see the opposite side. If you don't, insufficient light will pass through to your side, as it will simply reflect in the same manner as it does with your regular lighting.

I’m a woman traveling alone- I just booked a cheap hotel room, and they gave me a room on the very end of the building on the bottom floor, and there is a LONG stretch of this dark tinted mirror running across the room wall by the headboards of the bed… I’m so afraid to turn the lights off and check- they failed the fingernail test, idk what to do if they fail this too.

Just turn on the flash light and capture a photo by touching camera to mirror.
You can easily detect the type of mirror.

This is not 100% accurate. If the room behind it is pitch black. Than you won’t be able to tell if there’s a room there or not.

I need help. There’s a giant build in mirror in my bedroom. The setup always looked suspicious like it used to be a interrogation room or something. Now that I have a child in this room. I almost want to break the mirror/wall to see what is really behind it. Any tips or ideas ?

Imagine your in a hotel or something and check on one of the mirrors and you turn off all the lights and shine the light up to the mirror to see a man right there staring at you
