Find Your BitLocker Recovery Key Via CMD

Windows 10 Home edition does not support BitLocker Drive Encryption. The Bitlocker Recovery Key will be used when you forgot your Bitlocker password. It often saves on an external USB flash drive.

After BitLocker is enabled, you can view the BitLocker recovery key with this command:

manage-bde -protectors C: -get
or
manage-bde -protectors -get C:

#BitLocker_Key #BitLocker_Password

Hint:
If you don't have Administrative rights, you will get an error: An attempt to access a required resource was denied.

When I click on my encrypted drive it's showing a prompt asking for recovery key. But when I type this command I get both Bitlocker Numerical Password and TPM ID's. I'm not sure what does this mean

After doing this....the CMD only shows me an alphanumeric ID and not the password.

I am getting numerical password and a TPM: ID and PCR validation profile as 4, 7, 11

But I am not getting the BitLocker password. What can be my next steps?

What good is this if you can't boot the machine? So like when you are prompted before boot to enter bitlocker code.

Hi, my laptop is "Surface laptop 3". Now its locked by bitlocker and wont go into windows. I only have one disk which is C: I tried secure boot but i wont work and still ask for bitlocker key. which I dont have. The method you showed in the video wont work as well because its locked. The password is hidden. Is there anything I can do to fix this bitlocker thing? I have important files in the laptop and I wish I do not have to format everything. Thank you.
