So this did not work for me. And either did several other tutorials. I was just getting ready to trash the PC and purchase an Apple, when I decided to try a search on "bitlocker" on the computer. Low and fucking behold, it took me to a bitlocker switch, which I simply turned off. Whoever came up with this 'bitlocker' idea should be shot at sunrise.
