2024 Lexus TX Review

You can never have too many SUVs in your lineup these days, and now there's this...the 2024 Lexus TX. It may sound like a big tough name, but it's really just a luxury, family, 3-row crossover. And this one is the 500h F Sport model, so it actually has some athleticism baked into its frame. There are quite a few competitors in the luxury 3-row SUV segment, like the Volvo XC90, Audi Q7, and Cadillac XT6. So let's see where the TX fits in amongst that competition.

At that price i rather have a sequoia, but the drive and feel of a lexus is tempting. Gonna sell one of my Hondas, maybe my clarity, so I'll be looking into this in a plug-in hybrid drive train. I'll most likely get a Sequoia. Those things are so beautiful and mean looking at the same time.

Did you felt some weird noise on passenger side when driving over 60mph?
When I test drove, I felt is and it was 100% noticeable.
For me this is GO or NT-GO decision factor.

Please share your thoughts/, feedback on it.

The V6 needs to be available on all trim levels. Cannot imagine driving this big gal with a four cylinder.

Trading my 2023 RX350h in for the TX500h in Incognito - love the RX, but wish it had more space and horsepower. Picking it up in a couple days. Thanks for the video.

You didn't even mention its direct competitor MDX, especially MDX Type-S. And TX also looks like Honda HRV European model 😅

For that pricing the GX550 is a no brainer

I understand that the TX is "the direct competitor" to the MDX, but at the same time, it's confusing. Saw both in the same parking lot area, and the TX is definitely noticably taller than the MDX. I feel like I am taller than the MDX, whereas I am about the same height as the TX. On the other hand, I see a perhaps refreshed or prerefreshed GLS on the other side of the street. Yes, the TX is closer to the MDX in terms of price and features. On the other hand, its dimensions is closer to the GLS on the exterior and exceed them on the interior while being thousands less (because theres not as many features as the GLS).

The TX 500Hs that are in production are already SOLD. Order now if you want one in the next 3 months.

He's talking about the room in the third row. He has the back of the second row seat vertical. If someone is sitting in the second row, the third row would only be large enough for a child

Nice enough, I suppose, but it’s right on par with every other bland, dark, dank suv on the market in 2024. What happened to Lexus models draped in rich leather, warm wood, and earthy-toned interiors? Customers don’t like that anymore? This looks so mass market, and for 80 grand I’d be very disappointed

Plug in hybrid? Yuck. Rather have the normal hybrid. Too bad it’s a 6 speed. Not sure why they did that.

I accept to buyuesd bmw x7 around 65k out of door that would be much better because driving bmw x7 is phenomenal, confident, 3rd row seat is perfect

Lexus needs to stop with these ridiculous looking spindle grills. It’s getting out of hand already..

Toyota and lexus need to fire whoever designs their suvs. they are always to conservative, and never has that wow factor. they need young fresh artists. It seems like every other manufacturer is better than them when it comes to design. mazda is not luxury but look more luxurious than lexus. its a shame. and they need to change that.
