2024 Lexus TX - Interior Review

This interior doesn't feel that special unless you get the white or Peppercorn interior, & even then it like kind of bland. This really needs the Palomino interior color from the NX & RX, & the Saddle Tab interior from the new GX. The Peppercorn interior seems too dark at times for the interior

I sat in one this week and was underwhelmed by the interior. It felt fine but didn’t feel luxurious. Felt like a slightly nicer Toyota instead of a real luxury experience.

as an owner of the 2023 RX, the nav screen system is disappointing and don't get much update, it doesn't memorize you map orientation or zoom setting, and the audio sometimes will not remember your audio level and pop up to 22

the memory seat and steering function also sometimes won't remember your driver profile and you have to press the seat button again

if you have the touch sensitive steering wheel, those button will be disable if the car sense cross traffic, so basically if you are at a intersection waiting to turn, your HUD will keep flashing the warning and none of those control works; also cannot switch the HUD info when you in cruise mode

the rear tail gate lock and close button is always hit or miss, you kind of need to press the button and step away very fast to make it work, but if walk too far seems will not close, I still can't figure it out

oh and it is 2024, the music system is same as my first 2006 IS, still only able to display English or probably Spanish in the US market, no multi language fonts

I still love my RX, but just wish they can fix these small annoying details

Styling of the entire front fascia needs to be redone. The grill slates reminiscent of that on the 2nd gen ES just doesn’t work. The interior is very short on luxury style elements. Features that do differentiate it from the Grand H are only because Toyota held back from the Grand H and not because they created something more special for the TX. The price point seems like a bargain until you see you’ve gotten what the Grand H should have been. I just can’t trade my Lexus in for these reasons and am really disappointed. Just as I’m disappointed that upcoming new Prado-based GX wasn’t engineered to have a 3rd row.

This looks cheap for a Lexus because it’s based off the Grand Highlander. I’m assuming Lexus is waiting to give it that Lexus fit and finish until they start selling in big numbers, so I’m sure a mid-cycle refresh will give it that true Lexus interior

The 350 would be the way to go. The 500h and 550h+ are too expensive for what is offered, would just get an x7 at that point.

I need a hybrid car with a bench seat in the second row for my dogs. Lexus TX has nothing to offer. The dashboard looks so generic and cheap, with this shiny plastic. Very disappointing.

kbb the tx has the worst interior in this segment. Previously the xt6 used to be worse but now the tx has made the xt6 look better

When compared to any other 3 row suv including non luxury ones the tx really falls behind

As I’ve kept saying the tx is dead on arrival compared to any other 3 row


Unless you’re a Lexus sheep who A. doesn’t know anything and B. Doesn’t possess any physical sense, do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. You’ll be better served in the competition

😢 The exterior is hideous. In the interior is Bland Booring and already Dated looking. And for this kind of money you are already into Jeep Grand Cherokee territory. So no thanks hard pass. Epic fail

Bland, bland and blander. Hyundai's look better inside and a lot cheaper...not that I would buy a Hyundai....just stating the obvious.
