McGonagall was born in 1935 and she would've started Hogwarts in 1946 and finished in 1953, so she couldn't have won the Quidditch Cup for Gryffindor in 1971. In fact, that was the year James Potter arrived at Hogwarts, and he played Chaser, not Seeker. I know he was playing with the Snitch in the flashback, but that was because it was easier to steal and more fun to show off with than the Quaffle. I also know the movie says he was a Seeker but the movie gets things wrong all the time. McGonagall may have won the cup in her time, but I'm not sure. What I do know, though, is that she suffered from a fractured skull in a match against Slytherin in her 7th year and from that moment on, she always wanted Slytherin to lose every Quidditch game. This is why she was elated when Gryffindor won the cup in Prisoner of Azkaban.
