One of the greatest games of the year is filled with secrets, amazing details, Harry Potter references and Video Game Easter Eggs. Here's my favourite 40!

In Richard Jackdaw’s quest, you can find the lake where Harry saves himself & Sirius from the Dementors in Prisoner of Azkaban. When you get close to it your character will remark on the stags found around it, referencing the animal that Harry’s Patronus took the form of.

A detail I thought was super cool was that In the opening cutscene you cannot see the Thestrals pulling the carriage until George Osric is killed by the dragon. This means that was the first time the protagonist has witnessed death. I lost it when I realised it, so awesome the detail the game has.

There's a nice little reference to events in Philosopher's Stone in a quest with Sebastian, he says "Nothing like an angry troll to bring friends together." which is exactly what brought the trio together in the book.

You can hear people receiving Howlers at random moments in the game. I found two so far both by accident but I stuck around to watch the Howler tear itself up.

5:48 Adding onto this, Fastidio (the poltergeist you deal with in this side quest) says “Knight to H3”, which is the same move that Ron makes in Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone where he sacrifices his knight to get Harry & Hermione to move on.

The “follow the spiders” quote is actually in a quest when you have to find a spider cave later in the game. There’s a note on a dead person saying “Follow the spiders” over and over again.

One I haven't seen anyone mention yet, at the wooden bridge there is always a bigger owl and a smaller one right next to it right at the same spot where Lupin and Harry talk about Lily. It might be a reference to that scene

Apparently, there is a cave where you can encounter a wolf enemy called The Grim.

There is an interaction in the hospital wing where a student brings a goat thinking it was his own friend who used a shapeshifting spell by mistake, that one made me laugh

Just found another Easter egg took me a while to notice so thought I'd share. When you you find and solve all the hogwarts secrets you get "Fashionable dress robe" appearance. Which if you compare to Goblet of fire it is Ron's dress robe from that movie.

The kite flyers are cool. Also there is a dude in Hogsmede that cannot get on a broom. There was a student practicing circling objects too. Then there is the student that gets bitten and floats up and his friends were like “just leave him” 😂

One of my favorites as a theme park fan can be seen if you do the side quest where you rescue Adelaide Oakes’ uncle. The ruins he is being held prisoner in look just like the queue building and part of the track for Hagrid’s Motorbike roller coaster at Islands of Adventure in Orlando.

another thing, is in the quest for the cruciatus curse, once in Salazar’s Sanitorium-
There’s a letter he wrote about finding means to get rid of the muggle born. Which then leads to the basilik being born.

I like the former Headmistress Naimh's task & the introduction of the Deathly Hallows. Plus the fact it's animated like the tale of the Brother's in the movie version.

I don't like the lack of my usual spells, but the way it's done is clever.

In the caretakers hut, there is a poster for the quidditch team Chudley Cannons saying 'We shall conquer' but after 1972, due to the fact that they hadn't won the league in 80 years, they changed their motto to 'Lets just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best'. I thought it was a good easter egg.

“Griffindor is behind a portrait of your mom” 😂
