It's an easter egg because she made Harry's birth year to line up so that the year the book was published was same as the setting of the battle of hogwarts? How is that an easter egg? So many authors have done that it's pretty unremarkable at this point.

Its not that the guy in the pub wasn’t using a wand, cuz snaps and quirrel didn’t use wands when fighting over Harry’s broom in the first movie. It’s because he is READING a book while stirring the coffee. It’s supposed to take strict concentration to cast a spell without a wand, and he is doing it like it’s nothing.

Here is something that I noticed. In both of his first and final confrontations with Voldemort in the Sorcerer’s Stone and Deathly Hallows Part 2 Harry is shown doing the same slow left hand turn of his head as he stares in shock at Voldemort on the verge of defeat. And in both scenes someone’s body disintegrates at the moment of death. Quirrell and Voldemort.
