Good video on PA but you missed a major part with the discovery of oil and development of the oil industry (Pennzoil, Quaker State, etc)

You need to relocate Albany on your map. If you imagine New York as a T on its side, Albany is close to where the T meets - just along the Hudson River. It is several hours drive from New York City.

The Confederates did make it further than Gettysburg. They were routed at Wrightsville when the Union burned the Wrightsville Bridge, plunging a portion of the confederate troops into the Susquehanna River and leaving the rest stranded on the western shore (due south of Columbia). A small portion of the remaining troops tried to cross the river again northwest of Harrisburg (ordered to try and take the state capital) but the troops were separated in Camp Hill. A small group did manage to cross the river but were quickly captured while the remaining troops quickly retreated.

Up until about 15 years ago, the river was lined with miniature flags from Yorkhaven/Bainbridge down to Else Island with the 35 Star US flags on one bank and the Confederate Battle Standards on the other. Unfortunately, the houses, businesses and parks that maintained the Confederate side of the river started being vandalized by people who didn't understand that it was marking the place where the confederates were defeated and turned back; leading to nearly all of the flags being removed. Likewise, most of the Union flags were removed as well since they no longer had a counterpart opposite them on the river.

Mexico, great country!
California
Texas... another interesting history.

So much commotion occurring, all what appears be at once. The years overlap the years with some sort of change.

Just to be clear Slavery was NOT as common in Pennsylvania as other states and was considered odd by its inhabitants. Secondly Gettysburg was not the furthest north the confederates reached it was Carlisle and Mechanicsburg/Camphill area around Hope Church. Thank you.

You missed the other flags for California. The UK and Russia also claimed parts of the state before resolving the disputes in treaties with the Spanish at the end of the 18th century. Six flags have flown over California, and no the confederacy was not one of them like in some flyovers.

I'm most definitely certain that Illinois currently has a larger population than Pennsylvania.
