Psychology Professor Dr. Jordan B. Peterson explains what fantasies and dreams can tell about the underlying truths about yourself. You are too complicated to understand everything about yourself, but you are acting out your implicit morality without being fully aware of it.

I decided to analyze my fantasies and it showed me my biggest insecurities, wants, and the one thing I realized I didn't think I needed but sorely lacked: attention, and a relationship with others. Not necessarily in the romantic sense but just having a connection.

I would isolate myself and thought I was just an introvert who didn't "like people." But nope, that's not the case. I realized that all the positive events in my life came with human interaction-Something I avoided. No wonder I was so miserable.

Suddenly, I'm not afraid to be out anymore. Wow.

2:10 The girl has a Yu-Gi-Oh! wallpaper. Peterson is talking about what you can see and select in a movie. Yugi is a character who has two minds inside one body. Down the rabbit hole. Syncronicity.

so THIS is why I started waking up in terror when I first started meditating... It loosened my mind up just enough to allow my subconscious to dream of solutions, and the solutions turned to disasters in the dreams.

I wonder what his test questions look like.

The way he put his thoughts into the words! That's so genius, I wish I could represent all of my thoughts in words. I understand my own thinking but I can't explain it to other person or even write it down, it just stays in my mind.

I followed Jordan Peterson's rule 1 for a week and it completely change my perspective on things and how I approached things in life in general. Amazing!!! Just standing straight with your shoulders straight totally changes a lot of things. I'm not kidding.

Biggest problem with self analysis for most people is that they apply their morals to their thoughts, so they automatically reject and hide from themselves anything that they consider “bad”. Shaming your own shadow is never going to work out well, you have to befriend it and know it, then you’ll also understand others much better.

I need to learn how to edit video. I want to make a compilation of all the enlightening things Peterson and McLuhan have said that I feel we need to know. Two of the most inspiring professors in recent memory.

Thanks for this channel. You're doing a great service by going out of your way to relay this information.

What if Jordan Peterson is actually his eyebrows and the body is just some random guy?

If I were his 19 year old student, I wouldn't get anything he's talking about. But now, as a 40 year old... brilliant!!

Badass Video. NoFap was the Catalyst to propel me out of depression and raised me to take full responsibility for my life. Obviously there is more to it but porn can be a toxic addiction that keeps you right in that miserable place. Looking for the spark in your life?

I always found it bizarre how your mind could replicate reality and even warp it with no strain at all. If the brain truly is just a CPU, it's one hell of a processor to do that effortlessly.

I mean, it perfectly replicates every _little_ subtle thing and warps it with whim randomly. That's insane. Cherish dem dreams.
