Calvinism vs. Arminianism | Does God Predestine Us?

I contrast the second of the five points of Calvinism and Arminianism. Calvinism is a theological system associated with the reformer John Calvin who emphasized God's sovereignty. Calvinism is often summarized with five points: total depravity, unconditional election, limited atonement, irresistible grace, and perseverance of the saints. Arminianism is a school of theology based on the teachings of Dutch theologian, Jacob Arminius. Arminianism offers their own five points: free will, conditional election, universal atonement, resistible grace, and falling from grace. This debate will contrast unconditional vs. conditional election. Calvinism argues that God elects people to be saved based on his sovereign will. God's election is unconditional since God chooses people regardless of how they respond. Arminianism argues that God elects people based on his foreknowledge. Since God knows the future, he knows whether people will believe in him or not and God bases his election on people's choice of him.

i dont agree with either,
predestination is very simple to understand

God choose those in Him ( in Christ ) to be the ones set apart for the adoption

just like God predestined those who aren't in Him

predestination = a pre set destination, see how easy scripture is to understand when man doesn't tell you what it means
