My coworker us a narc. Its extremely obvious. She thinks shes flawless, walks around with her chin up and her chest out, she only talks about herself and how great she thinks she is. She cant handle even the tiniest insult without blowing up.

My mother being a narc made both me and my sister develop mental health disorders. We just didn't know how to do anything against her except gray rocking. Which is very hard if both of us have mood dependent disorders. Turns out all we needed was advice from a more cruel person than her. Thank you, we are definitely gonna apply this.

Hahaha "they've donated 5 dollars to a homeless now they are philanthropists" so true. Those types are usually the ones to announce in every conversation how kind and good they are; self praise is no praise at all. My father is like this and he's a dead on sociopath. He will tell people how charitable he is often exaggerating or failing to mention what he got out of it. They hide behind a well cultivated mask.

The best way to control a narc is to abandon, disown, and treat as if you never met them. Making them feel irrelevant will starve them of your supply and they will have to seek it elsewhere.
