You gotta be careful. Narcissism is a spiritual attachment. The person suffering is just a puppet. If you start playing games, you don't understand what you can end up unleashing. It's like poking a bear. The best revenge you can get on a narc is to heal, move on, and live your best life. Karma will take care of everything else...you don't have to stoop to their level. And I am speaking from personal experience. I was trauma bonded for over 4 years and the narc tried everything to destroy me. But I survived and you will too 💗

With a narcissist, you are the supply. They are insecure, but the thing they love more than anything (and themselves) is conflict. Yes, they want someone to stroke their ego endlessly, but if you cause conflict (or become the objective of their anger) they will fight endlessly and claim victimhood to anyone who will listen. You have to bore them (gray rock) or completely leave.

The only way to deal with a narcissist once you detect them is to get away and stay away, go no contact and never return, this is your best and really only move . Learn how to detect them early to minimize the abuse they cause you, then get away . Every time they speak picuture them in a stray jacket, because that is EXACTLY what you are dealing with . Dont take it personal and pray for them from afar.

There's more than just praise that offers Narcissistic supply. Being angry also does.

She's right that taking away their supply (Both affection and anger) will torture them, but just do that through going "No contact" or "Grey Rock." Those of us who got involved with narcissists in the first place have some vulnerabilities, so we can't keep our heads clear enough to play games like this. We should learn to manipulate them, but only for when we are required to interact with them, like co-parenting or at a job. Outside of that, just grey rock the shit out of them so they think it's their idea to leave. And then don't respond to them.
