You guys are literally the best channel I know when it comes to basic biomechanics and finding the issues within athletes. All of your progression on certain athletes seem so obvious once pointed out but to the regular person they’d (me) would have no clue where to start. I hope you guys get more hoodies in soon, I’m trying to act like a college student going to the best school in the country when going to the gym. So thankful for this channel.

My feet do not roll side to side, but my heels want to come up. Warming up makes it possible to squat with heels down until I put a bar on my back. I wear biker boots with a big toe box to be able to distribute weight in a tripod, but I want to be able to swat barefoot with a bar on my back. Please talk more about ankle mobility.
I should add that I pass the foot strength tests except for the closed-eyes balance.

I have a question!! What should I do if one leg is longer than the other? In order to even myself out, I've been wearing a thicker sole in my shorter side's shoe. However, I want to squat barefoot. Will squatting with uneven legs (2 cm difference) mess my form up? I'm a beginner by the way. When exercising with no extra sole, my longer leg was much more sore in the following days than my shorter leg.

best to squat with the weight in front of you. It stops a lot of back issues from occurring.

Pretty sure it’s actually because of weak calves. The knees won’t go fully over the feet causing them to fold.
