What do you mean "can't secede"? I hear that everytime I mention secession - clearly a very popular argument as I've heard it a thousand times over, but the rhetoric sucks. "Illegal" and "can't" are not synonymous. One implies consequence for a behavior. The other implies an inability. John Locke said that a government derives its power from its people, so i reckon anybody can secede on an individual basis if they feel like. Happens everyday. You probably have an anarchist or two near you. This is how I know he's from new England. If we do secede wtf are y'all going to do about it? Bomb us? Implement martial law and MAKE us work for you? What CAN you do that would make the punishment campaign worthwhile or cost effective? A law forbidding secession is about as useful as a rig for a horse. That is to say you only have an illusion of control over that beast and if it so happens to feel like it, it can throw you off of itself.

Im thankful, my parents brought me to Texas when I was young. When I came of age, I decided that Austin is the best place, to live in Texas. Sadly many others are beginning to see this as well. My sleepy little home, is now on a busy highway. Guess I'd move, if I could only find a place as lovely.

Something you haven't touched upon, Texas is also home to BNSF Railroad, the largest railroad in the US. UP Railroad also operates extensively in Texas as well. BNSF and UP work together as a duopoly for rail transport west of the Mississippi River. Toss on the trucking companies, a Federal Reserve Bank in Dallas, a US Mint in Ft. Worth, a sovereign fund that is doing quite well, and growing state gold reserve, you get a robust foundation for financial markets. Then, finally, Texas many universities are rising as well. The biggest fly in the ointment though, is the border issue with the mass migration of people causing a crisis the likes of which we haven't seen in a long long time.

Texas was once an Independent Republic under Sam Houston and Stephen F. Austin. There are museums in Galveston that showcase the old coins and dollar bills that were the Republic of Texas currency.

You left out that Corpus Christi is home to Uranium Energy Co the largest and fastest growing uranium producer and processor in the United States. In addition to supplying many facilities that exist today they signed a memorandum of understanding with Bill Gates foundation to supply uranium to the new type nuclear power plants being built in this country. 5 of which will be built in Wyoming.

San Franciscan here and super stoked for where Texas is heading. Ya’ll are the proud and true Americans that many of my fellow Californians have forgotten they once were. Firstly thanks for this video explaining why Texas is growing at this pace compared to Cali. I would like to point out 2 things in the video which will need your attention. There was part where u were trying to show the revolution in Iran and showed a few characters with the head cover/band. The style of the headband that you showed is worn by Sikhs (Sikhism is a religion in India and is part of Hinduism and not Islam). Why I want to point this out is because ur channel will be viewed by a lot of Western populace and this wrong representation could mislead them to think a Sikh person as a person from Iran which can lead to wrong things.
Second thing that I wanted to point out was that you did not mention one of the main reasons for people moving out from Cali to states like Texas being the indoctrination of kids with wokeist beliefs in schools, against the will of the parents. I could be wrong, but siting in the other side of the world, this is the info we r getting as one of the reasons.

I live in the Texas triangle where we’re connected to 3 of the largest cities in America where it’s about 2 hrs away from Houston, San Antonio, Dallas & (Austin) where I live from. Really convenient
