RECIPE (3-4 servings, 10min prep time)
-400g tofu
Crumble and fry in some oil until browned
-1 Tbsp tahini
-1/2 cup (120ml) plant milk
-salt to taste or kala namak
-1/4 Tsp turmeric
-1/2 Tsp paprika and garlic powder
Mix and add to the tofu.
Let it cook down for 1-3 mins.

Reminder: Kala Malak salt is needed to give it egg-like taste. Kala Malak is sulfuric salt from india that has a natural egg-like taste. Also works great on avocado toast

I never liked that until many years ago I bought a small seasoning package called Tofu Scrambler.I am not sure about the seasonings but it transformed the tofu into a tasty breakfast along with sautéed potatoes for starters!!! You recipe is just what I needed !!! ❤❤❤

The only tofu scramble I like is the one I make at home. Every time I’ve had it a cafe, it has been under seasoned and tastes horrible. I have been vegan for almost 12 years, so I’ve had plenty of time to perfect it! The secret to a good scramble is using black salt and lots of nutritional yeast. Just be careful when using black salt, as it can be very salty, so only use so much at a time till you get your desired taste. I’ve never tried it with t’hina and am very wary of using it in dishes, besides using it to make t’hina sauce 😐 but maybe I’ll give it a go sometime ❤

Amazing! I didn’t have tahini at home so I substituted it with hummus - still delicious! Especially with fresh tomatoes and roasted pepper

I combine silken & firm tofu, use only a little tumeric & sweet paprika. When ready I salt with kala namak - perfect. Some omni-friends didn't even notice that it was not made from eggs. This recipe is nice but not for me, I don't like my scrambled tofu taste sesami-ish ;)

My tofu scramble recipe: cut up some tomatoes and jalapeños, cook for about 5 mins, add scrambled tofu and add a bunch of nutritional yeast and some salt to taste and cook till desired texture is achieved. Simple but delicious

Should try stir frying finely chopped onions and peppers and green onions before adding the tofu. More bite and substantial.
