Palak Paneer used to be one of my favorite Indian recipes, so obviously I had to veganize it :) My version is just as indulgent and delicious as the classic but 100% vegan and wholesome.

What Indian recipe should I veganize next?

I tried to make a paneer substitute out of tofu before. I boiled the tofu in a mixture of almond milk and soy cream. It was great! It gave it that delicious creamy, milky flavour.
Greetings from Germany!

In the process of trying more of your recipes. I don't know if anyone else sent you this but rinsing spinach is easier this way: fill a large bowl or your sink with cold water. Drop the spinach in. swirl. Let sit in the water and swirl a few times more. the leaves will float. The sand & dirt will sink, Remove clean leaves. Thanks for your channel. I'm lovin' in!

I had a package of frozen spinach and decided to see if it would work. I thawed and drained it and it worked great. I LOVED this recipe! I stopped at my Indian grocer and picked up dried fenugreek leaves and I recommend keeping them in your kitchen as they added a nice flavor to the finished dish. I am deffinately making this again! Yum!!!! 😍

This recipe is everything. I’ve made it 6 times already, and every time it’s a BANGER. DON’T SHY AWAY FROM THE SPICES. If you don’t do the baked tofu method, add the spices from what you would’ve to the tofu to the spinach sauce! I LOVE THIS WOMAN FOR MAKING ME UNAFRAID OF SPICES!

I was too intimated to cook Indian food before I found you! Now we regularly make your chana masala and sweet potato dal from your cookbook! Thank you for another delicious looking Indian recipe we can look forward to.

I like washing greens in a big bowl of water a handful or two at a time. Throw the greens in, agitate them, and let things settle for a moment. This way the dirt and sand easily fall away and sink to the bottom of the bowl. I find it more thorough and less cumbersome than trying to handle a mass of greens in a colander.

I made this recipe Friday night for Saturday, and it was wonderful! So flavorful, I used frozen spinach that I let defrost and used the boiled tofu method that I added to the sauce a few minutes before serving. I skipped on the coconut milk because we liked the flavor as it was, and surprisingly it was pretty creamy even without it. I didn't have any fresh cilantro but am sure that would have made it even tastier. Last week after trying her red lentil curry I thought it would be hard to find a recipe that topped that, and although very different in flavor, this recipe might be even better in my opinion. I hope to try adding mint to this recipe sometime to hopefully mimic one of our local Indian restaurants take. Excellent recipe🏅!!!

looks awesome! here's a little tip if you're weird like me: when you boil the spinach the water gets green because a lot of the antioxidants get into the water so you can save that water to drink or use in soups so you get all the goodness from the spinach

Watched the video and immediately made it. I added kale since I didn’t have too much spinach and it was super delicious!

I would undoubtedly adore the recipe. I am a spinach lover since childhood :D
One tip about rinsing it: put it in a pot/bowl full of water and wash it this way for the first time- saves a lot of water by removing the initial dirt!
Also, the tofu tip was very interesting! Never thought about doing it to change the texture!
Anyways, have a nice rest of the week!
Lots o love!
P.S. You always win my heart with the dance parts! <3
