it’s so sad that i’m allergic to cashews (and all nuts, for that matter) as a vegan bc so many good replacements are made with nuts! this looks delicious!!

I've been obsessed with this recipe, it's insanely great. I've made this 10+ times and shared with friends and family over Xmas and they were loving it! I added a chipotle pepper, smoked paprika and cayenne for a chilli version which was great! Thanks for the great recipe!

I'm not vegan but I'm lactose intolerant so this seems like a good alternative for me. I really love cheese but I can't eat it. 😭 I will definitely try making it this weekend.

Awesome, I'm going to make this for my Vegan coworker. She is always bringing in treats to share with us and I want to reciprocate, but I'm not as experienced with vegan cooking.

When I went vegan for a few months, one thing that I found really helped me was adjusting my expectations. At first I really didn’t like vegan dairy at all… but once I stopped expecting it to taste like the non-vegan alternative, it was a lot more palatable. I feel like it’s important to go into vegan versions of meals not anticipating something it’s not, but instead having an open mind and expectation of trying something new.

I’m not vegan but this looks good, I just don’t trust myself fermenting anything 😂. I’m a pretty competent cook but whenever I hear the word “ferment” I just remember my flatmate tryna make yogurt and I nope out.

I think my favorite replacement for cheese are simply olives. I know it's weird but if I'm ever craving cheese, olives will do the job for me and be satisfying

I've made this at least 2 times, came out great and delicous. I use it straight out of the jar. Haven't tried to roll it out in parchment paper yet.

I just made this cheese now and I had to leave everything and come here to thank you so so soooo much for this recipe..it tastes just like a cheddar spread and that’s even before fermentation 🥹😍..I’m a breastfeeding mom whose daughter got a lactose intolerance/cow milk allergy and I had to give up all dairy products so I was standing in the supermarket clueless desperate for a good recipe with all ingredients I can find right away and I stumbled across ur video and bought all ingredients and tried it right away (boiled cashew for 15 mins) and it turned out so good I almost cried..first time to taste cheese like something in months..you’re incredible..I will definitely try more of ur recipes ❤
