If I had a heavier, proper pair of dumbbells..I'd 100% use them. But since I get what I need from specialty bars and special exercise variations (as shown in this video), the need for them is less.

I credit my arm size to dumbbells. I've found that when it comes to growing those guns chin ups and barbell curls really don't cut it.

To Alex, I expected him to say "They don't make heavy enough dumbbells for me"

When I was in prison all we had were rusty old adjustable dumbbells, we build bodies better than 90% of people with high end equipment, all we did was apply progressive overload, push pull rest repeat .it's not too much about dumbbell vs barbells weight is weight, people focus too much on the little be, the key is applying progressive overload

Dumbbells can be occasionally helpful. Take a dumbbell bench press for example, it allows you to go beyond the natural range of motion of a bench press - not only can you lower the weights further, but you can also bring your hands together at the top which increases the range of shoulder flexion

I like weighted pushups / variations more for chest, healthier on the shoulder + no imbalance + trains serratus

I only have access to 90 pound adjustables because my room is tiny. I also use a pullup bar with rings. The best ill get from my tiny room.

I do dumbbells now due to covid and injury. I find doing them one arm at a time solves most of the issues with dumbbells. You can get some 12 dollar 18 inch dumbbell handles from york barbell's site. With 25 lb plates you can get quite a load on them.

I like to grab dumbbells at the end when I normally would think I’m done with the barbell, and I say no I’m not done

Yo bro i saw one of your old videos "Side effects of being lean", I dont follow any diet, all I do is eat the healthy stuff I find at home, 4 eggs on the morning and train 6 times a weeks, this is All . I went from doing 50kg on bench with a spot to comfortably doing 60kg (I'm 15 btw) and I really love your videos ❤

The grip on the dumbbell can be unforgiving. I remember Brian Alsruhe saying that he prefers farmers walk handles over dumbbells as they are easier to grip. Personally I’ve had rough times gripping the dumbbell when benching and rowing after exhausting my grip on the compounds. Straps are the way to go for sure.
