Explanations:-
1)There were supposed to be only two astronauts who accompanied the narrator on their journey, however, something(likely a Skinwalker or another form of Shapeshifting creature) disguised as a human, and no one, except the narrator, seems to realise this fact. Bro fr hit CTRL+C and CTRL+V.

2)I believe that the little girl is a ghost and only shows herself to selective people. Therefore, the doctor can't see the girl, but the narrator and their son can. Ghostbusters time!

3)As told in the story, the husband died last night while having his arms wrapped around the narrator, and due to rigor mortis(Stiffening on muscles after death), the narrator couldn't get away from the dead body. Should have done 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups and 10km runs since she was a child, smh.

4)The dog had gone through surgery that basically remove its ability to bark properly. And on that unfortunate day, someone broke into the house, and despite all the dog's best efforts, it just wasn't loud enough to warn its owner. I love dogs and this good boy was trying its best despite the surgery, so I'm not gonna meme him.
Edit:- Honestly, skill issue on the human's side for the last one, they honestly deserve what's going to happen because of what they did to the dog.

True horror story: there was a family that had a doctor perform that “debarking” surgery on their autistic son because they thought he was too loud. Not only did they treat him like an animal but they subjected him to a common form of animal abuse.

The first one is brilliant because it not only implies that there is a shapeshifter aboard the craft, but that it could alter their minds so powerfully they forgot it’s existence without committing it to paper.

I really like the first one it’s what two sentence horror should be, it makes the reader have more questions while letting in doubt. Like did he kill one, or is one of them a monster.
